Property Owner Changes & Records

When you purchase or sell property that is part of Terlingua Ranch, it is your responsibility to inform our office. The buyer should file their deed with the County Clerk of Brewster County, who will certify the deed and return the original to the buyer. You should send us a photocopy of the certified deed. We will then transfer the property to your name in our records. Copies of certified deeds may be mailed to POATRI, P.O. Box 638, Terlingua, TX 79852, or FAX to 432-371-2229.

Other legal documents that are allowed for property owner record changes are a Contract for Deed signed by both parties, any certified court document showing a new owner (such as probate, divorce decree, etc.) or notification from a title company doing business in Brewster County.

It is also your responsibility as an owner to keep our office informed of any changes in address for billing purposes. Late charges will not be waived because of incorrect addresses unless you can show that you notified us.
