Welcome to the POATRI Property Auction. From time to time we will be putting up for auction various properties that have been deeded to the Association.

Each auction will be dated. Each auction will be open for 30 days from the date of opening with a stated deadline. You do not have to be a current property owner to bid. However, if you are a current property owner you must be in good standing with the Association.

Auction Rules:

• Minimum bids will be noted with each tract or auction. There will be no exceptions to minimum bids.
• Bids must be sealed and sent by Certified Mail to POATRI Auction, P. O. Box 638, Terlingua, TX 79852. Non-certified or incorrectly addressed bids will be returned to sender.
• Bid must include Tract No, Dollar amount of bid, Name, Address and Telephone No. of Bidder.
• Each Bid must be for one Tract only. Single bids for multiple tracts will not be accepted, unless specifically noted in the auction. You may mail multiple bids in the same envelope.
• Bids must be postmarked no earlier than the opening date and no later than the closing date of the auction.
• Winning bids and bidders will be posted on these pages at the close of the auction.
• IMPORTANT STIPULATION -- High bidders will receive a Special Warranty Deed from the Association. There will be no title insurance, title searches or other additional closing requirements by either party. 
• High bidders will be notified by mail and given ten days to respond with full payment of their bid.
• POATRI will transfer the property clear of assessments through the 2007 assessment year and property taxes through 2007. Buyer will be responsible for payment of 2008 property taxes, which are due January 31, 2009.
