Bookkeeper/Accounting

 

 

General Description:

Responsible for all bookkeeping and accounting functions of POATRI.

 

Work experience and other requirements:

·         Full charge bookkeeping; proficient in QuickBooks accounting system.

·         Office procedure management and executive assistant experience.

·         Ability to work without daily supervision, and to follow both general and specific guidelines.

 

Job duties

·            Maintain the financial records of POATRI in the manner prescribed by the Board of Directors and any applicable State and Federal regulations.

·            File monthly and quarterly reports with State and Federal agencies as required.

·            Develop and maintain procedure manuals for all aspects of the resort.

·            Process payroll biweekly.

·            Process all payables and receivables of the resort and assessment collection.

·            Maintain proper employee files and computer records.

·            Maintain vehicle and heavy equipment maintenance records.

·            Prepare financial reports as needed by General Manager and the Board of Directors.

·            With General Manager, develop and supervise training programs for all departments of POATRI.

·            Maintain official files of the Board of Directors.

·            Assist General Manager as needed.

·            Performs the primary thinking called for by this overall job description.

·            Assumes other duties and responsibilities as directed by Operations Manager.
